1. Pasar Santa

How about starting your day by exploring the famous traditional market that is not so traditional in Jakarta?. There is a place called Pasar Santa that is located in Kebayoran Baru, one of the most expensive and well-maintained areas of Jakarta. And used to be a normal traditional market, Pasar Santa finally changed its appearance to the public in 2015. It’s quite shocking how the ‘glow up’ of Pasar Santa can be. First, you can try out the famous es Kopi Susu Tuku in the Tuku store. This ice coffee might be the best one to awaken and start your day. As you stroll around, don’t forget to check out POST Bookshop, an independent bookstore that sells a lot of books that are not sold in the regular bookstores. You can check out different types of books here, from new literature books until a book that is written by Soe Hok Gie, an Indonesian activist back in the 1900s. 3. M Bloc Space

Another place that lives up the area of Kebayoran Baru more and more. As a used to be an abandoned place of a money-printing factory, this place is transformed into a hub for the citizens to hang out and meet up. M Bloc Space is a new star as the neighborhood in the neighborhood. Located on the other side of Blok M plaza, M 

Bloc Space has been crowded since the opening of this place. A lot of things are done here. This place serves as a multi-purpose venue that is available for live sets. Usually, M Bloc Space posted schedules of live performances that will be held in this place. Of course, you can see for music performances from Indonesian musicians to accompany and uplift your night. 

A line of eateries and cafes also can be found in front of M Bloc Space. Famous cafes such as Tjikini that have their first home in the central Jakarta also take part in here. You can try their famous Indonesian coffee that tastes different from any coffee that you’ve tried. The interior of it might remind you of an oldies interior, something vintage, and back from the ’80s. If you’re moving to the back of M Bloc Space. You can also see the new famous restaurant _Oeang.
