2. Lunch at EGG Hotel
After a nice breakfast at St. Ali, it’s time to eat lunch at EGG Hotel. EGG Hotel is a restaurant that is Australia-inspired, an Australian-Asian fusion restaurant. The restaurant is located at the rooftop of Suites at Seven, Setiabudi. Having lunch from a rooftop, the restaurant surely does offer a nice view of the Jakarta skyline as there are not many buildings around the area. EGG Hotel is décor is dominated with cement, brick, and wood elements, giving the restaurant a bit of rustic vibe yet still modern with all of the huge glass surrounding the place, but with all the décor that they have, it surely gives a cozy nuance. The restaurant is always accompanied by a nice playlist that fits the overall theme that EGG Hotel is going for.
Now that we’re at EGG Hotel, you should try their Quinoa Fried Rice and Yuzu by The Sea. As for their Quinoa Fried Rice, it is a mix of quinoa and brown rice that is served with Gochujang Chicken, Egg Blanket, and Orange Jam. Their chicken is very delicious, the spices are spot-on exquisite. Another menu that you should try is their Yuzu by The Sea, which is actually the restaurant’s best seller. Yuzu by The Sea is a pan-seared Barramundi served with Black Pumpkin Charcoal Gnocchi, Orange Yuzu Cream Sauce, Yuzu Chili Jam, and Zucchini Noodles. The combination of all these tastes amazing.

3. Dinner at AB Steak
AB Steak by Chef Akira Back is located at the Mezzanine level of MD Place Building in Setiabudi. AB Steak is an American steakhouse incorporating lush Korean flairs into the concept. The interior of the restaurants is exquisite, as it exudes warmth and flair with modern Asian aesthetics. The restaurant is dominated by the color of black and red, giving the room a nuance of elegance and luxury alongside with the dim lights.
The restaurant is well-known for its outstanding range of dry-aged meat. Their dry-aged meat ranges from 30 days up to 120 days. AB Steak not only focuses on making their food taste excellent, but they also put forward their customers’ dining experience. The chef will grill the meat directly for you, to assure you get the best out of your food. They offer various cuts of meat, the choices are very diverse. We recommend you to try their Flat Iron Steak as the meat is not too fatty, but it will melt in your mouth. Dip the steak in the truffle salt that they provided, it is exquisite! Maqui’s is a famous dessert chain in Jakarta. The most famous menu from their dessert chain is their Tarts! One of the most best-selling variants is their Cheese Tart. Their tarts size are petite, therefore you can eat it with just one or two bites. The taste is super rich, creamy, not too sweet, in short very delicious. The filling tarts are very soft, if you take a bite, it melts. They also offer birthday cakes, very delicious as well, but their tarts are is the winner.
