How to Make It

Honestly, the local Balinese dish is not that easy to make in a home because sometimes it has to use the pure of animal blood. But, this is one of the simple and easy recipes to make by yourself that you can make in your home with simple ingredients. Let’s check these out!

Ingredients:

  • 100grams of long beans and chopped for 1cm
  • 150grams of shredded coconut
  • 50grams of jackfruit, boiled and chopped it
  • 100grams of chicken breast and chopped it
  • 1 spoon of lime
  • 4 spoon of fried shallot

Seasoning:

  • 6 spoon of coconut oil
  • 4 pieces of shallot
  • 3 pieces of onion
  • 2 pieces of red chili
  • 3 cm of ginger
  • 4 cm of galangal
  • 2 pieces of lemongrass
  • 4 pieces of roast candlenut
  • ¼ spoon of pepper
  • ½ spoon of coriander
  • 1 spoon of baked shrimp paste
  • ½ spoon of salt

Steps:

  1. Stir-fry the seasoning until it smells nice
  2. Add the long beans, shredded coconut, jackfruit, and chicken meat
  3. Mix it well and stir, move to the plate when it is done
  4. Add the lime and fried shallot on top of it
  5. Lawar is ready to serve
