Things To Do in Mega Kuningan

Mega Kuningan is one of the major neighborhoods in Jakarta’s Central Business District (CBD). It is one of the biggest business areas that CBD has and one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Jakarta, South Jakarta. This area is not only filled with corporate offices but also shopping malls and the embassy of different countries, but also many elite housing! 1. Eat At Asuka Restaurant JW Marriott

Who doesn’t love Japanese food? If you want to experience Japanese authentic culinary, especially omakase, Visiting Asuka at JW Marriott Hotel is a good choice. Located in one of the biggest hotels at Mega Kuningan, this restaurant only uses high-quality ingredients imported from Toyosu Fish Market, Japan makes this restaurant worth a visit. Although sashimi, sushi and omakase are Asuka’s mainstay menu, other menu items like grilled salmon, bento box, ankimo, sashimi, iwagaki, and many more are worth trying too.

2. Eat At The Royal Kitchen

Located inside the Bellagio Mall, it is known as one of the most popular restaurants in Mega Kuningan, this place not only serves a la carte Indian food but also all you can eat. It has another branch located in Bali but Mega Kuningan is the only one with this restaurant. Even though the restaurant is not so big, the interior makes us feel like we’re inside India because of its ornaments, types of furniture, and also music. 

You can try out their masala dosa, Crepes-like dish that is filled with mashed potatoes and spices. The chef in The Royal Kitchen itself originated from India so you don’t have to question how authentic this restaurant is. They also have catering services for various occasions.

Bellagio is a boutique mall in Mega Kuningan, it has many boutique stores that you could explore. Although it’s quite small, it has luxurious interior and exterior designs. The mall itself is still a good place to get the necessary things, such as foods, toiletries & any daily or household needs. You could also find alcoholic drinks, hairdressers, coffee shops, and more. Bellagio is also known for its various restaurants and food court on its ground floor, from Mexican, Indian, Vietnamese restaurants, and more! They also have a function hall to hold many events, even weddings!

Ottoman’s Coffee in Sopo Del Tower is a branch from its original coffee shop. It is designed to be a chic-looking coffee shop in Mega Kuningan with pink and green pastel interior. Besides its ‘Instagrammable’ interior, Latte is even pink! It has a modern and simple design, making it have a cozy ambiance, They also have a great selection of meals and beverages, Ottoman’s Coffee can be slightly crowded so be prepared to wait a bit for your coffee and food. 

Ottoman’s Coffee serves a great variety of drinks, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. We recommend you to try their Avocado Fries and Long Black Iced Coffee. You could also try their signature drink, Sundaze, perfect for a hot day.
